For quite a few years I've had a problem with depression. Just within the last couple of years, though, I thought I had it licked--I'm on a drug called Zoloft, which up until last week seemed to be all I need. Now with the forced change in diet, I am back in the depths, seems like. I hate to plan meals, I hate to cook, I hate to clean up--all things which up until this week were enjoyable. I guess I'll get over it, but it's going to take a while. Take care, and if you're having a good day, keep on having it! Love to all, and God bless.

I have trouble signing into your blog. Same thing happened last time I tried to post on here. I had written the post and then couldn't sign myself in and then had to rewrite it once I figured it all out.

1. Hope it's just the new medicine and that you'll feel better soon as your body adjusts to it.

2. Go to Kroger and look around in the produce and health food sections until you find something you think you would enjoy snacking on, but make sure it's something really expensive, so you're still indulging yourself. Maybe even some kind of crazy overpriced water or diet soda. I think Jones Cola would do it for me. Especially with those fancy photographs.

3. Pull out all your funny t-shirts and wear them exclusively until you feel better. Even the holiday themed ones.

4. Hug Daddy.

5. Call me and cry.

6. Get your Bible out and flip around and read or just read something you know that will comfort you and cry and kiss it and pray through this and even write about it in that brand new unused journal laying in the backseat of the car.

7. Praise God that He's got some kind of wonderful thing in store for you in this.

8. Since you seem to be happiest when you're thinking about others, focus on getting Daddy healthy.

9. Go out to lunch with Joan Peters and listen to her.

Those are my crazy bits of advice. Pick and choose.

Two more things that may be good is a walk outside in the fresh spring air (wearing one of your funny t-shirts of course) and looking at a beautiful baby. Of course, I happen to have one posted on my site! Also, email me. I have more. TK

Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry you've been down. I wish I had read this yesterday (two days ago?) when you first posted it. I love you great big bunches. When I feel crappy like that, I usually put on a chick flick and cry - that seems to make it better somehow.

Love you!
